Chai,” the Hebrew word that means “life,” consists of two letters in the Hebrew alphabet: Het and Yud. Each letter has a numeric value, and combined, Het and Yud equal 18.

By signing up for 18 for Israel to raise vital funds for impoverished Jews you’re giving them the “gift of life,” or “Chai”.

Jewish children, men, women, and elderly need your help now more than ever. Sign up for 18 for Israel to give them the gift of life today.

About The Fellowship (IFCJ)

The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ) funds humanitarian aid to the needy in Israel and in Jewish communities around the world, promotes prayer and advocacy on behalf of the Jewish state, and provides resources that help build bridges of understanding between Christians and Jews.

Nearly 400,000 Holocaust survivors are living their final days in the most wretched conditions imaginable – without food, medicine, heat or company.

Rosh Hashanahthe High Holy Days

Over the next few hours in Israel, thousands of elderly and impoverished Jewish families are lining up at Fellowship food distribution centers. They are desperately hoping they will receive the special food and provisions they need to celebrate this most holy of seasons.

And my heart breaks for those who live in the far reaches of the former Soviet Union. Many thousands of Jews there with nowhere else to turn are anxiously hoping to hear a knock on their door, telling them that help and hope has arrived just in time.

Over this past week, I have been moved to tears as I see the concerned faces of thousands upon thousands of Jewish souls who cannot provide for their daily needs.

On Holocaust Remembrance Day, we pledge to remember the 6,000,000 victims.

Sadly, 40 survivors die every single day – alone and forgotten. It won’t be long before none of them are left. We must help them now while there is still time.Or text 18forIsrael15 to 71777

But together, we can still help them.

Please join with us to provide special food packages and other essentials vulnerable Jews need right now. This way they celebrate the High Holy Days with joy and dignity.

Fellowship volunteers will be working around the clock to quickly reach everyone we can, getting boxes of food to those in need before Rosh Hashanah begins tomorrow at sundown.

Please give your very best gift right now to those who otherwise will have nothing to help them observe the “Days of Awe.”

They urgently need you.

With prayers for shalom, peace,
Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein
Founder and President

Thank you so very much for your support and May God Richly Bless You!!
